My name is John Lightbody. I was born in Akron, Ohio and have lived in southeast Michigan for the majority of my life. I've gone through many ups and downs that have taught me the strength of perseverance.
I am an industrial designer with a focus for anything innovative and fun. I believe that if we don't move forward, then we're only going backwards. Thinking of new ways to solve interesting problems is what gets me out of bed and excited for the day.
I enjoy reading, writing, film, video games, playing bass guitar in my band, and have a love for travelling/learning more about other cultures. I'm currently studying abroad at FH Joanneum in Austria in an attempt to broaden my view of the world and my place within it.
